Hey all,
i just need some help in figuring out how to attack certain opponents.
First off, im trying to improve my stand up game im a kicking boxer and judo fighter. My main concern is A. getting caught up in elbow spam, B. not being able to effectively use my boxing skills and C. not being able to win the clinch grapple game.
My games pretty good its 107 most stats over 100 and my clinch grapple is only 80 for both off and defense. Any suggestions on how to pull of successful monuevers and throws rather than being reversed and being able to perform a reversal( main concern really because when i do get a good striking rhythm going they go for the clinch and either easily toss me to the ground or setup a match giving rnc).
Elbow spam was another thing that i copped recently, basically i just wanna be able to stop it rather than cop 20 straight elbows which ruins my match.(i know it mightn't be possible but if someone knows a way im a keen leaner
).
Last my stand up strikes don't seem to be super effective, i mean as a kick boxer i should be laying massive kicks againt boxers who take massive airs swings but its just not happing for me.
Im on xbox and also wanted to know if theirs anyone out their that wanted me to go through a few drills with them and see if i can learn something good.
Also probably last, the ground work. Ive practiced hard with this but im finding even when i get the first opportunity to the ground with side control and no stamina lost im easily getting reversed and full mounted from rubber guards. Just need some reinforcement on techniques i could perhaps practise.(105 grd attk and def
Seems like alot fellas i know but i do appreciate your views.
Also whats with the fact that one match my strengths that are 100+ are like 110-115 and then if i loose like one match that get toned down to 105?
