I've played almost 200 matches prior to the patch, and now that I've installed the v1.20 patch I'm wondering how this could be considered an improvement. It seems to me that now the game freezes more often, I get invalid/connection error messages at random times (after selecting fighter, losing, winning, or while joining someones game). Lag is no better for me, although my 1.5Mb DSL could be to blame. I've also discovered that quitters don't give me my rightful win (one loser disconnected before his head could even hit the mat after a KO). Additionally, right after installing the patch I was given a DNF 1 - 0% status, even though I hadn't disconnected.

With the new patch im finding it ALOT harder to pair up and fight with somebody. i gotta search for an opponent like a dozen times before i get one

Yes, it seems like there's either nobody playing online, or the matching takes too long.

Also, it seems like transition blocking is rampant online, and it seems to be making matches very boring... unless you're the guy on top.

SUGGESTION: Make transition blocking a momentary move, similar to counters.

love the game every bit but when im in someones clince on line it just seems way harder than playing aginst the computer on expert even when i play someone who is real bad if they get me in a clinch with any character i just carnt seem to get out, anyone else find this happens?

no "ufc only" for me...need i say more?

PS3 here, the game is now unplayable, its a chore to find a ranked match to play and when I do it crashes occasionally to a black screen and never recovers

i'm almost to this point...even thinking about checking out *gasp* Fight Night. Will definitely be checking out what EA's MMA has to offer. Never had one bad thing to say about the game pre - patch. Sure disc. sucked, but that's the internet. Now I'm in CAF hell.

Im generally not having too many problems, although i still get the " invalid " screen? not sure if that's giving me the wins or not ? the one addition i would have liked added would have been some sort of Tournament feature.
would just be a cool thing to do.

i argee with anyone who's game freezes up online now. but i don't agree with anything else there crying about. for example the CAF's are still going to be rated high do to the fact that you can legitemly build one up through career mode. what THQ fixed was when in the "create a fighter mode" in the game you could cheat by appling all skill points to a CAF than basiclly reset the points by toggling the CAF's stats than reapply those skill points to the CAF until all the skill points were maxed out. it was a glitch.

There's really no reason to cry about fighting CAFs online cuz you can simply avoid fighting them in something called "custom match" ironiclly it was out before the patch was. heres how you do it.
1)select custom match
2)select UFC only
3)press thee X button
4)now simply stop crying
