WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR EA SPORTS. THE FIGHTERS WILL BE LESS IMPRESSIVE, HOWEVER, THE GAME WILL DEFINITELY BE BETTER. ESPECIALLY ONLINE: THQ......AT THE VERY LEAST.....CAN U RESET EVERYONES RECORD OR DNFs SO THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY SEE WHO THE QUITTERS ARE AND NOT PLAY THEM? WHEN WE ALL HAVE A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF DNFs, HOW DO WE TELL A QUITTER FROM A NON QUITTER. AN EASY FIX IS RESET THE DNFs....... WHY AM I NOT AT THQ HEADQUARTERS!? I WOULD OWN THIS PLACE! ONLINE PLAY IS STILL A WASTE OF TIME. EA WILL CRUSH THQ. THEY UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT ONLINE COMPETITION IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The patch DOESNT WORK, I still get quitters and I still get the "invalid" msg. The patch doesn't say it will stop people from quitting. It states they will be punished for it by getting DNFs and losses. So when someone quits, you'll still get the invalid message. But they will get a DNF and a loss-- exactly as the patch says. |

# Ranked Matches have been adjusted to match players with better connections. Is this why I can't find any matches? I specify 'ANY' in all categories in both ranked and player match and don't find any. I've had a couple from quick matches but it appears that because I'm in Australia, 99% of players may be considered too laggy to match up against?? I hope this isn't the case.. it's bad enough that the best online game mode ever (NHL online team play) is too damn laggy for us. :/ |

You get the invalid message, but you do get the Win awarded to you. About resetting records: I do agree that DNF's should be reset to 0. It will blow a fresh wind through the online community and it would be a positive impulse. As some stated already that they got quit on alot, yet people think they are the quitters, thus resulting in strife between players over facts they did not commit. Furthermore THQ should be more strict. I highly doubt players will Disconnect that often ( We all have stable internet ). But if 2 players choose to disband the match due to it being to laggy they should have the option to vote for it. For example a mutual vote to "End Match". ( Iniated bij holding LT+LB+RT+RB or such ). That way you don't get unintentional DNF on your record. If someone disconnects, no matter if the fight is midway, the DC'er should get the loss, and the winner should get the proper screen as if they won, and get the points for the win. It's a shame for the few that experience heavy and frequent disconnects, but again I doubt those will actuall bother playing online if they have such severe issues. |
1. A 108 CAF is not a glitched CAF, you can have as high as 110 through career.
2. It seems the patch is supposed to just help you SPOT a quitter. All the adjustments were to help you pre-fight in spotting a potential quitter...nothing was ever said about getting wins or points. Would be nice if that was the case...but the patch should help alleviate the problem of quitting by avoiding fights with players with high DNF%.
You can get higher than that. I have a 112 and 113 career mode fighter.
