people wont admit when there connection stinks or it's setup wrong they just blame sony, microsoft or the devs. yeah I live in the sticks and have internet through satellite. Wind and Cloudy weather can interfere with my signal, so piece of advice. bad connection, look outside before you curse xbl or thq, it may just be weather, or maybe even consider changing your internet service provider. 9 out of 10 times it's on my end and not xbox. I think we should actually be blaming xbl for not providing a standard signal strength bar like all cell phones have. It would be very helpfull and take it out of the hands of game publishers on a game by game basis. Any way to send a complaint to XBL lol. I mean it would be nice to just be able to see if your internet is running well enough to play online as soon as we log in, right? |

honestly I have a couple of games a day with pretty bad lag, and once in awhile I have a game that is completely unplayable, I have comcast cable internet which is a 20mbps line, and it actually runs at 24mbps, I have my nat open ports forwarded, it really is just a chance that you have to match up with someone with a sh*tty connection. |

I know I have openly stated the gameplay is great in this game, but I got a major beef with a glitch in the online gameplay that was never fixed that I cannot stand. The ground game sucks and here's why. If you are on your back and an opponent is trying to pass, they will automatically pass on the third attempt with you holding back on the stick. Even if you release and re press the trigger the trigger between attempts, they will pass on the 4th. This also hold try on an opponent using the rubberguard from their back. Once again, on the third or 4th attempt, they will automatically sweep to mount. This is all fine and dandy, but once an opponent is in the mount, they can simply hold the stick back or forward and you cannot get out at all. It's kinda unfair if you think about it. I've always said the mount's too easy to obtain. This puts a striker at a disadvantage because if an opponent catches a kick and knows this dirty little secret, you are basically defensless unless they are gassed enough to get a sub slapped on em right there. Out of all the guys I have played over level 55, only about 5% had striking to back up their record. The rest simply take you down and attempt to pass over and over till this glitch puts them in a dominant position. I have found ways to minimize the losses from this, but I think it automatically puts all strikers at a major disadantage, and the easiest way to win is to simply use guys with good takedown ability. I have won about 95% of my striking matches, and have lost over 200 fights after being mounted, and how often do we actually see a mount in the UFC. I'd say about 1 out of every 25 matches, not 99 out of 100 |
I very rarely have any lag issues.
