Why is it so hard to pull off subs i think it should me just as equall to sub someone as it is to KO them if i have a great submission fight

ive been wondering that the whole time. Its an ease land a knockout with Brock but even when the guy is gassed its impossible to sub someone with a fighter like Maia or Leites.
